Splashtop Download
There are following steps to set up Splashtop:
- On the computer or computers you wish to connect to, install Splashtop Streamer.
- Install the Business App on the computer or devices you wish to connect FROM in step two.
- Use the Business App to connect.
Note: If the installer does not launch, right-click it, select Properties, and then, if the “Unblock” option appears, click it. Windows occasionally prevents downloads of EXE files.
- Install the Streamer software on the PCs you wish to access from a distance.
- Start by locating the downloaded install file. “Splashtop_Business_Win_INSTALLER_v” will be the file name, followed by the version number.
To begin the installation, double-click the file. In case a UAC prompt appears, select “Yes” to proceed with the installation. Provide your Windows username and password if the UAC prompt asks for one.
Give the installation time to finish. A prompt informing you that the installation was successful will appear after it has finished.
- Any device (PC or Mobile) that you want to access remotely has to have the Streamer program installed.
- The Streamer application can be downloaded in a few different ways.
Permissions for Access

- You will be prompted to authenticate your electronic device if this is your first time logging in to the that device and you do not have 2-Step verification enabled.
- An email with an authentication link will be sent to you.
- Your list of accessible computers should appear when you log in.
